Winchester YFC Club Report:

After a relatively quiet year previously, things have really started to pick up at Winchester over the past twelve months. This was helped by an influx of new members at the beginning. We've kept meetings casual with regular socials in our local pub, The Kings Head in Hursley throughout the year.  We also have been to the Screen Cinema in Winchester a few times, one of which was to see Indiana Jones.  Bowling had a good turnout and showed that some of the members had hidden talents and a few were fairly competitive!

When the weather got better we had a couple of BBQ’s.  One was on the beach at Calshot where we had a fire and cooked our own food without managing to get food poisoning! The second was slightly colder in a field near Hursley, the food was also dodgier this time thanks to the chefs but we all had an enjoyable time on both occasions.

Winchester YFC has also hosted two very successfully parties, with some money being raised, a good time had by all that attended these!

On top of keeping ourselves busy in the evenings we have also enjoyed great success at both the stock judging and rally day. In particular with our victorious fencing team carrying on competing for County.

We are currently looking forward to an even more successful next year, with a packed schedule and hopefully even more fun to be had by all. Thank you to all of those who've helped over the past year it has been much appreciated!
